'Tis the Season

Now is the time to have a pad and pencil laying on the Kitchen table. 

Jot down things you are going to ask your “guests”

Have you ever had your Thanksgiving or Christmas or even New Years Eve  “guests”  “sign in” ?

Do you save your Christmas lists for over 3 years? Why not? This could help to find people in 5 years from now.

When was the last time you contacted a relative you have not seen for over 2 years  And  Talked about Genealogy related to the family?

Do you know where there is a address list in your home over 10 years old and can you get to it?

At the up coming dinners that you might attend have you thought this year of taking some old family pictures with you and see if any one can ID them and tell you some stories about the people in them?

Do you have a story that you can tell at the dinner table about some of the grandparents, Uncle &Aunts as they were growing up that would be pleasant to them and informative to the other members of the family?

Do you know a neighbor of your parents that might still be living where you could take them out for coffee or a meal and learn about your parents growing up and being neighbors Hay its not to late as it is the

            Season to bring good cheer and thoughts to everyone.
